The ecologists led by Toma Belev have received almost 6000 BGN fir six wooden benches and tables and one wooden stage measuring 3x2 m on Cherni Vrah (Black Peak) that have already been ruined, alerted Vladimir Karolev on Facebook and posted pictures.
The economist says that Toma Belev received 14 000 BGN for painting iron posts on Vitosha. This is yet another example of brazen embezzlement by the Greens. They have not even taken care to have the wood processed for protection from rain, cold and snow. Here is what Vladimir Karolev says on Facebook: “Almost 6 000 BGN for 6 wooden benches and tables and one wooden stage 3x2m (What dimwit decided that there should be a stage on Cherni Vrah?). Pine planks were used without applying protection from cold, rain and snow. Several years after their installation most of the benches and tables are ruined. Also, almost 14 000 BGN were provided for “reconstruction and recovery of pole marking” which is painting of a hundred or so iron poles with yellow and black paint. Comrade Toma Belev was the director of Vitosha Park at the time this proposal was approved. Nice, eh? The grant-loving Greens are stealing big time.” Skandal.bg
